When You’re Ready To Know You’ll Know

Your Soul can see your future creations, and the steps you’ll need to take to achieve those creations.

This is why your Soul is the best mentor you can have and why its meant to lead you from within.

However, your Soul also knows what steps you’re ready for.

It is a master at Divine timing even when your logical mind might argue that you need the whole plan.

The truth is that in most cases receiving the whole vision, would create a lot of needless fear and worry that could actually sabotage your creations.



For example, the last two years as my family contemplated relocating, I never considered leaving the country.

We went back and forth on different options in the United States. 

I prayed and asked for guidance on where our new home was supposed to be.

In my meditations my Soul (and Our Lady of Guadalupe) reassured me that I was being guided to the perfect location.

Of course, I wanted my Soul to tell me the exact location so I could stop worrying.

I didn’t want what I saw as a vague reassurance. I wanted specifics (where? when? how?).

But I’ve also been on this conscious spiritual journey for quite some time and I understood–as frustrating as it was–that if I wasn’t getting more information, I must not be ready for the whole picture.


So we explored.

We visited different states. 

We thought we had narrowed it down to one.

And then in February of this year, through a series of synchronicities, I got the full download.

We were moving to Mexico!

We knew this only a mere five months before this monumental move.

I could argue that if I’d known for longer, we could’ve prepared better.
That we would’ve avoided the flurry of action that selling our house, cars and most of our possessions in such a relatively short time created.



But my Soul knew better. 

I was actually not ready to receive the full “reveal” before it came. 

Contemplating moving out to another state was already quite a stretch for me.

The thought of being in a different city from my children (all now young adults) was scary and sad. 

But this year my youngest graduated college and he already had a job lined up in Seattle.

Two of my other kids were also moving away from Chicago. My mothering journey did indeed feel different. I could feel a cycle ending and a new one beginning.

When the vision of moving to Mexico came, I was ready. 

I realized that visualizing myself a state away from my kids had prepared me to say yes to being a country away. 

I wouldn’t have been ready before. I needed a bridge.

The amazing thing is that even though we had only five months to prepare for such a big move, so many amazing things came into alignment. 

Without knowing it, I had been preparing for Mexico all along.

That’s how wise and efficient our Soul is. It brings things into alignment behind the scenes even when we don’t know its happening.

But trusting our Soul is a PRACTICE. 

It requires commitment and dedication.

But you develop this step-by-little step. 

Right now, think of guidance you’re seeking from your Soul.



Ask your Soul to show you the next little step for you to take.

You can bring the palms of your hands over your heart center, close your eyes and say something like:

Beautiful Soul, I’m seeking guidance on ________ creation/action/decision.
 Please show me what is the next little step I need to take on this creation/action/decision.

When you receive the step, even if it feels unrelated, take it. 

This is where most people stop.

They ask for a step and when they receive guidance to for instance, take a walk, go to a yoga class, make that phone call, visit that little shop, they disregard it.

They want the big, important step.

But remember your Soul knows what step you’re ready for, and each step it gives you is preparing you for the next bigger step.
