Interview With Lisa

Who are your clients exactly?

I work with highly-sensitive women and men, who have a strong longing to help others and want to create new, innovative systems of healing and wellness. They are leaders although they might not recognize it. My clients are also open to alternative methods of healing and feel a spiritual/intuitive connection, which may, or may not, be connected to any specific religion. They are predominantly in the wellness field (or want to be), but not exclusively. My clients have included:

How did you get interested in this work?

I was a middle school teacher for almost ten years. Although I was experiencing a lot of professional success: I had completed my Masters in Education, I was publishing articles in education books and journals, and I had been awarded a prestigious award in education, I was feeling very restless and unsatisfied. I kept wondering why I wasn’t happier. And then one day my Soul very clearly told me it was time to leave my education career and embark in a new direction. I talk about this a lot more in my book, Answering Your Inner Calling.

Although I had a lot of fears, I listened to my Soul and left my established career in education. Through various synchronicities I was guided to work in a holistic fertility center doing Reiki on women who were struggling to conceive.

At the same time, I was finishing my training in the Internal Family Systems (IFS) of psychotherapy which I used as the framework for my practice as a life coach. For a few years I did both– reiki, mostly helping women to conceive, and life coaching, helping women and men to transform different areas of their lives.

After about five years of this, I realized that my Soul once again was guiding me to evolve my career and integrate both modalities: life coaching and Reiki. I also realized that although I was helping my clients through various transitions, the one that called to me the most was helping them transform their career so they could share their true authentic gifts with the world. So I decided to focus on that, and I haven’t turned back.

How exactly do you help your clients?

I take my clients through my signature program that I have refined and developed through my own personal experience of evolving my career from being a middle school teacher to the work I do today, and through my work helping hundreds of clients to evolve their career. My programs are highly customized, but there are a few things that are at the core of each one.

• No matter what has happened to you, or what is going on in your life, or how confused you may feel, there is a place inside you that is clear, wise, and calm. I refer to this part of you as your Soul.
• When you connect to your Soul in an ongoing, consistent way, it puts you back on the most fulfilling path for you to share your Soul’s medicine. You are guided on the steps to take, which will ensure that your highest good comes to pass. And when you follow your Soul, everyone in your life benefits.
• As you evolve on your spiritual path, your Soul’s medicine evolves, and you are guided to evolve the work you do.
• You are not alone in this process. There are loving spirit guides that can help you on your journey.  I can help you, if you choose, to deepen your connection to your guides and make them an ongoing support system.

How does Reiki help your clients evolve their career?

We are more than a physical body. We are energetic beings. And your energy body carries everything, the beauty of your life, but also the wounds, outdated beliefs, fears and traumas. Reiki helps to clear anything from your energy body that can get in the way of your growth and evolution.

In the area of career, this means clearing any fears about fully stepping into your authentic voice, and power. Also clearing outdated beliefs, and old wounds around past work, so that you can move forward with confidence, and be led to the work you are meant to be doing.

All of my clients receive Reiki and this accelerates their healing tremendously. And I also each my clients Reiki (those in my higher level programs) so they can do Reiki on themselves between sessions and continue their healing.

Do you have a life coach?

Absolutely! My coach was essential in helping me have the courage to leave teaching and start a new career. There are so many paralyzing fears that can come up as you commit to following your Soul’s guidance. And often there aren’t many people who can be truly helpful during this time. My coach helped me to work through the fears that came up, so I could keep taking steps forward.

And, I still have a coach today because my Soul keeps evolving me, and I am committed to this journey. That is why I am so passionate about doing this work, because I know firsthand how important it is to have a mentor by your side. It can truly make all the difference.

Do people ever re-enroll once they finish a program?

Yes! My clients always see wonderful results and many times they want to continue the work we’re doing together. I’ve done the same with my own coach.

Do you offer single sessions?

No. I don’t anymore. Partly my schedule doesn’t allow for it any longer. But mostly, I realized that the quality of help and support I could give my clients was very limited when I did single sessions. My work often became more of a band-aid, rather than creating deep transformation and longstanding solutions. By asking my clients to commit to working with me for a period of time I ensure that they see long-lasting results.

What is the purpose of the Breakthrough Consult?

This session is an opportunity for me to connect with potential clients to see if they would be a good fit for my coaching programs. I run a boutique-style business so I’m not looking to have hundreds of clients at one time. Instead, I have a small group of clients, at any one given period of time, that I take care of really well, by providing highly personalized, and intimate support.

During the Breakthrough Consult I will ask guiding questions to discern what it is that the client really needs and how I can help them achieve the results they’re looking for. I will on also share more details about my coaching programs so that potential clients are clear on what they each include.

And, of course, this is an opportunity for potential clients to ask me questions and share with me more about their journey and the results they are looking for.

What payment methods do you accept?

I accept all major credit cards and can also be paid via check.

Ok. I’m ready. How do I get started?

Great! The first thing I’ll need to know is if you will be paying in full or setting up a payment plan. You will then provide payment (either in full or partial payment). I’ll also email you the Working Agreements, so that you can read them and ask me any questions you might have. You will then email me a signed copy of the agreements. Once these enrollment details are complete you will receive a link to my online calendar so you can start scheduling your sessions.

What days of the week do you work with clients?

I connect with clients during the week, mostly in daytime hours. I don’t see clients on the weekend. Although, I do teach a few weekend workshops and retreats.

How do you meet with clients?

My sessions are available over Zoom or phone.
