On this path of connecting with your Soul it is easy to feel like there are endless steps to take– challenges that need facing, wounds that need healing, unhealthy habits that need releasing, and on and on. It can feel like a very serious and, sometimes, never ending path.
It is true that deepening your Soul connection is generally a process, not something that happens automatically in one fell swoop. At the same time the process of connecting with your Soul is, as the spiritual book, A Course in Miracles, describes it a, “journey without distance”.
This means that, of course, there are cycles of learning, and levels of mastery that you reach as you keep saying yes to your Soul. But even more true is the fact that RIGHT NOW you are connected with your Soul.
Your Soul is one with you IN THIS MOMENT.
Your Soul loves you unconditionally AS YOU ARE NOW.
There is NOTHING YOU NEED TO FIX or learn in order to receive your Soul’s wisdom and healing.
It is your own fears, and feelings of unworthiness that make it difficult to perceive your Soul’s love. And the path of healing is, at its essence, all about releasing those fears, so you can feel the love your Soul already has for you.
So, yes, keep doing all you’re doing to help you release the blocks you have to love–meditating, praying, reikiing (I think I just made that word up), nature walking, visualizing, parts work and whatever else you’re guided to do.
At the same time, begin each day to remind yourself that in reality YOU ARE ALREADY ONE with your Soul. Ask your Soul to help you feel the truth of that right now, to help you remember that the journey has already been taken. You are already healed and loved.
Don’t try to make logical sense of this. Remember your Soul is not logical but it is wise.
And from that space of inner knowing you can take all the steps needed with lightness in your heart so you can enjoy this healing journey you’re on and be a powerful beacon of light for others.
